The PENGU Project
The PENGU project was a joint venture between Heriot Watt University students and Edinburgh Zoo. The project aimed to develop a smart egg, capable of monitoring animal behavior and interaction during their incubation period.
I am a recent MEng Electrical and Electronic Engineering Graduate, web developer, car lover, computer geek and cinnamon roll addict. I work as a Digital Engineer and do freelance web-development as a hobby. On this website you can find my web/graphic design portfolio and some of my electronics projects.

The PENGU project was a joint venture between Heriot Watt University students and Edinburgh Zoo. The project aimed to develop a smart egg, capable of monitoring animal behavior and interaction during their incubation period.
The aim of the mini project was to create a custom embedded system using techniques learned throughout the Embedded Systems course. The project demonstrates a fundamental understanding of microcontrollers, digital electronics and C programming knowledge through the creation of an interactive game controller.
The aim was to design, develop and manufacture a robotic system that could dispense "snacks" (in this case, the snacks were LEGO Duplo bricks) .
